Is He Worth It?: Mesut Ozil
Arsenal has showed their stature in this trasnfer window by making a 50 million euro signing for Ozil. I have yet to find an Arsenal supporter who isn't glad that Ozil is now in their team, he was a star in Real Madrid and he will be the same for the Gooners. He is the third most expensive signing in the history of British football behind Fernando Torres and Carlos Tevez. The 24 year old signed a 5 year deal with Arsenal.
His debut match with Arsenal was against Sunderland United and he finished the game with an assist.

His debut match at Arsenal's home ended with Ozil assisting every goal for his new side against Stoke City.

Arsenal are at the top of the league table right now and they are looking like they will stay that way for the rest of the season. They have a very strong squad as well as a lot of trust in their Manager that he will deliver a trophy this year. Ozil's signing has not only given the side some strength, but also some confidence from everyone who both supports and plays for Arsenal. I believe Ozil was one of the best signings this summer.
